One day, when a farmer was in the field and his buffalo was grazing nearby, a tiger appeared. The tiger wanted to know why the big buffalo was a servant, while the little man was the boss. The farmer said he had a mind but that day he forgot it at home. He got his mind back, but before he left he tied the tiger with a rope to a tree because he did not want the tiger to eat his buffalo. When he went back , the farmer brought some straw . He said that was his intelligence. He lit some straw and burned the tiger. The tiger escaped, but it still wore black stripes from those burns to this day.
