Cấu trúc: The + Adj so sánh hơn 1 + S1 + be/V1, the + Adj so sánh hơn 2 + S2 + be/V2
Cách biến đổi adj:
- Với các adj ngắn 1 âm tiết thì ta thêm đuôi er
- Với các tính từ ngắn kết thúc bằng 1 nguyên âm + 1 phụ âm, ta gấp đôi phụ âm cuối trước khi thêm “đuôi” -er
- Với các tính từ có hai âm tiết nhưng kết thúc bằng chữ cái y thì sẽ biến đổi y thành i và thêm -er
– Với các tính từ dài trong câu so sánh hơn, các tình từ này sẽ không được biến đổi, mà sẽ được thêm từ more đứng trước nó.
