I will talk about Tet Holiday, which is also known as the Lunar New Year holiday in Vietnam. Tet holiday is probably the most interesting holiday for me in a year. It usually occurs at the end of January and lasts for 3 days. In my hometown, to celebrate this occasion, people usually decorate their houses, go shopping and cook traditional food, as well as take part in specific activities during this holiday. Firstly, people often spend few days cleaning their houses, polishing furnishings. Furthermore, people usually go shopping for anything necessary and food to cook traditional dishes. Tet food is very varied from cakes, candy, jams to many special dishes. Finally, it's time for people to gather and enjoy the spring together. They spend time visiting relatives, their friends, and their teachers. "Tet" is a word that is very familiar to Vietnamese people whenever we think about our country. This is the time for a family reunion, for festivals, and for people to give love to their loved ones. As for me, I enjoy the warm and cozy Tet's atmosphere when all members of my family stay and talk together.
