A bear in the house
Last Saturday afternoon , Katy went to her best friend's birthday party. Her best friend's house wasn't far away , so after the party Katy walked home alone . It was a cold foggy evening and street was empty.
When she got home opened the door with her key and turned on the light . Suddenly , she saw a huge bear looking at her ! It had a piece of cake in its hands and a biscuit in its mouth !
She thought that the bear wanted to eat her , so she quickly it ran of the house . 'Help,' she shouted , but no-one was around !
Katy ran to the apple tree in the garden and climbed up . The bear followed her and sat under the tree eating the cake . Then , suddenly , the bear took off its head ! It was Katy's brother Harry in a costume.
Harry couldn't stop laughing , but Katy was really angry . 'When I climb down from this tree , I'm going to put that costume in the bin!' she shouted . 'You have to catch me first!' said Harry . Then , he ran into the house and closed the door behind him . Katy put her hands in her pockets - her keys were still in the living room!
