Dear mom and dad,

I am writing to tell you that I arrived in Beijing, China at 6 p.m. on Friday. When I came there, it was snowing heavily. Luckily, my friend's father, Xiao picked me up and took me to his home.

On the first day in Beijing, I was too tired to go out because of the flight so I stayed at Xiao's house and played card. On the second day, Xiao and I went to the Great Wall of China by bus and took a lot of amazing photos there. People here are very friendly and kind as they smile at everyone they meet. I also tried a few street foods but they were too spicy for me to eat. Therefore, I decided to go to Night Market to buy some souvenirs for you. Can you guess what they are? They will be a big surprise for you.

I am very happy about visiting this country. However, the food didn't attract me as much as wonderful historical spots here such as Mutianyu Great Wall and Forbidden City - The Palace Museum. I will come home on Monday. Please pick me up at the airport at 7 p.m.

Dear Dad and Mom,

I arrived at Bejing airport last night after a-day-flight. Aunt Mai and her family met me there and took me to their house.

This morning, aunt My took me around Bejing to watch beautiful streets and shops. We also visited the Great Wall of the World, Forbidden City, the Imperial Palace, Phuong Hoang Ancient Town, Leshan Giant Buddha,... Then we enjoyed many Chinese special street foods. I met a lot of interesting people but I couldn’t communicate with them because my Chinese is too bad. I bought some beautiful souvenirs for all you.

I feel really excited about the lifestyle of Chinese people and their cuisine.

Well I am going to spend a week here, so I will come home next Sunday. Could you please pick me up at Tan Son Nhat airport?
