The specialty dish in my hometown is pho. Pho is already a very famous dish in Vietnam, and most people will immediately think of it when we mention Vietnamese cuisine. It is understandable that there are so many people who love Pho, because it has a very distinctive taste that we cannot find anywhere else. To get a pot of delicious soup, we have to have many different spices like anise, cinnamon, etc., and the most important thing is the bone. The bones have to be cooked for a long time to get a pot of delicious and sweet broth, and then we mix with the other ingredients. Noodles is also very special when it is not like other types of noodles and vermicelli. It's made from rice flour, and it's thicker than the others. After pouring the broth into the cake bowl, the next step is to top the slices of beef and other dishes. I like to eat undercooked beef and beef balls, and those are typical dishes that Vietnamese people like to eat. We finish Pho with some basil, cilantro, bean sprouts, and black pepper. Besides that, we can also have side dishes such as eggs and beef blood in boiling soup. All of them create a harmonious taste that can appeal to even the most demanding diners. Although Pho has many versions from different regions, it has always been the national dish that most Vietnamese love. I have been eating Pho for almost twenty years now, and I will still consider it my favorite dish.
