I've attended to Hoi Mua Festival in my hometown Phu Yen. The festival takes place in March every year by ethnic minorities in Phu Yen. The purpose of the festival is to celebrate the new rice both to give thanks to the rice god and to the labor achievements they have achieved, and also to pray for better crops in the future. At the festival, people play gongs, play drums, sing and dance and drink all night long. People also watch buffalo races, cutural shows and play traditional games. Although there is no assignment for organization, each family looks and organizes in a house-by-house order. I felt very happy and excited. I hope I can attend the festival again.
