Hung Temple is the common name for the temple complex of Hung Kings on Nghia Linh Mountain in Phu Tho Province. Standing on Nghia Linh Mountain overlooking the four sides, we can see that in the distance is the fork of Hac, where Lo River merges with the Red River. On the left is the majestic Tam Dao range. On the right is the faint Ba Vi peak. Green fields, hills, palm trees, tea gardens, rich villages, picturesque scenery, and midland spread out before you. Here and there scattered large lakes gleaming like a mirror in the spring light.
The Temple of Hung historical relic consists of three main temples, namely Ha Temple, Trung Temple and Thuong Temple, respectively. From the first steps at the foot of the mountain, we will step up many stone steps to pass through the gate, the gate is built in a high arched form, the lower floor has a large arched door, the top of the upper pillar of the sewer pillar has a smaller arch, the four corners of the roof are decorated with a dragon shape, embossing with two animals. Between the pillar and the embossed gate are two boxers, one with a spear, one with an battle ax, wearing armor, chest decorated with tiger. In the middle of the first floor there is a great self-proclaimed "Cao son landscape" (Go up high mountain to see far and wide). There are also people translating as "Cao shan Hanh Hanh" (Duc is as big as a high mountain). The back of the two tigers cover the embodiment of the divine guardian.
Ha Temple is said to be the place where Au Co's mother was born wrapped with hundreds of eggs, then hatched into 100 sons, the origin of the "compatriots" (together wrapped) originated from here. Hạ Temple was built according to the "second" style of architecture (two horizontal lines overlapping each other), including two precepts and harem buildings, each with three spaces. At the foot of the Temple is the Beer House with hexagonal shape, with six roofs. On the top, there is a wine-shaped covering, six roofs are covered with tiles inside, cement-covered outside, with six pillars made of round bricks.
Near Thien Ha Temple, there is Thien Quang Pagoda. In front of the pagoda, there is an almond tree, where Uncle Ho talked with cadres and soldiers of the Vanguard Army before returning to take over Hanoi capital. In front of the temple yard, there are two four-storey cylindrical monks. On the roof covered with lotus. The hollow is hollow, the arch is small. In the tower are incense sticks and stone steles engraved with the names of the monks who have practiced and passed away at the temple.
Through Ha temple, we ascend to Trung temple. It is said that this is the place where the Hung Kings and the Lac lords and Lac generals went on a sightseeing trip to see nature and to discuss water affairs. Here, the sixth Hung King gave up the throne to Lang Lieu - a filial son because he had the merit to make banh chung and banh day. The temple was built in the most geometric shape (a horizontal line) with three spaces facing south.
Thuong Temple is the highest, located on the top of Hung mountain. Thuong Temple has the name of “Kinh Thien Tien Dien” (Dien Cau Troi). In Thuong Temple, there is a great self-titled "Nam Viet million ancestors" (enlighten Vietnam). On the left-hand side of the temple is a sworn stone pillar, which is said to be erected by Thục Phan when the 18th Hùng King conferred the throne to make a vow to protect the country.
The tomb of Hung Vuong is said to be the tomb of the 6th Hung King. The tomb is located in the east of Thuong Temple, located at the top of the painting team, the foot of the water pedal, the face turns to the Southeast. Tombs are square, columns are wall, there are eight curved corners, forming two roofs. On the upper and lower floors are four dragons, the top of the tomb is shaped like "too pearl" in the area of "eternal dragon". In the mausoleum is the tomb of King Hung. The tomb was built in a long rectangular shape with a roof of the roof. Inside the mausoleum, there is a stone tablet inscribed with the main symbol (main tomb). Above the three sides of the tomb all have the title: Hung Vuong Tomb (Hung Vuong Tomb).
