Cat Ba National Park is a paradise for nature and cultural beauty in Binh Dinh Province. Established in `1986`, it covers an area of `1,520 ha` including `980 ha` on land and `540 ha` in water. It has been recognized as one of the most important areas for plant and animal conservation by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) because it is the habitat for more than `320` species of birds, over `100` species of fish, `120` species of animals and about `500` types of other living organisms, including `25` different kinds of Cat Ba National Park has three main attractions: islands, beaches and cliffs. The beach includes white sand with different sizes situated at the mouth of the rivers flowing into sea here including Hon Giong, Na Gam and Cam Do rivers. On top of that there is Cam Hai cape (door to sea) far away from civilizations where you can feel special awe at any time as you watch fun-loving dolphins performing wonderful stunts while swimming among oriental ships sailing through the waters around Cam Hai point.
