The Cat Ba National Park is the biggest island in Vietnam and an area inhabited by large one-humped camels, cows and small ones like wild dogs, barking deer, langurs, badgers, pangolins and many bird species. The Cat Ba island has witnessed many stages and cultures of mankind, due to its history of exploration, cultural importance as a political center during the 13th century. Today, tourists who visit the area can check out the region’s history by visiting a few quaint villages scattered around the national park.
