Nice to hear you came to Vietnam. I hope you will have a good time in Hanoi.
There are many interesting places in the city, but I think in one day you can visit three places.
The first place I recommend is Hoan Kiem Lake. It is one of the symbols of Hanoi. There you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and visit The Huc Bridge, Ngoc Son Temple.
The second place is Van Mieu Quoc Tu Giam. It is the pride of each of us Hanoians when it comes to a long-standing cultural tradition. When you come here, you can touch the turtles' heads to pray for good luck in studying.
And finally, you can also stroll the old town, wander the old streets and some old houses to discover Vietnamese culture. You can also enjoy a variety of dishes here. I'm sure you will love these places.
