I often remember that familiar verse every time I come to Sword Lake to play. Sword Lake is located in the center of Hanoi capital. The lake surface is as blue as a giant carpet. Floating in the middle of the lake, on the green grass is the ancient and majestic Turtle Tower. In the distance, the vermilion-colored The Huc bridge leads tourists to visit Ngoc Son Temple. The mossy ancient temple roof is next to the old banyan tree. In the temple there is a very large turtle displayed in a large glass cabinet. Seeing this old turtle reminds me of the legend of Sword Lake. King Le Loi returned the sword to the god Kim Quy on Ta Vong lake, Hoan Kiem lake. When summer comes, the sound of cicadas mingles with the sound of birds to create a symphony that lasts forever. Along the road, the willow trees lean down to reflect on the lake like the long hair of young girls falling down to make love. On festival days, the lake surface shimmers brightly by thousands of colored lights, milk flowers exude a soothing scent that gently settles on the shoulders of passersby. Tomorrow, no matter where I go, I will not forget Sword Lake - a beautiful landscape - has been with me throughout my childhood.
