Last year, my family spent our Tet holiday together, and then we went to visit my grandmother in another country. After the first three days of the New Year, we packed our things to go for an abroad journey. My grandmother lives in Thailand with my aunt, and we have not visited her for years. The airport these days was full with people, and we waited for almost 5 hours before getting in the plane. The flight lasted for just about 2 hours, but we had to wait for another 2 hours to check out. My grandmother was so happy to see us, and it was the best Tet holiday for the rest of the family. We hung out in Bangkok city together, then we bought a lot of things to cook big meals at home. My aunt and uncle gave me a big amount of lucky money, but I gave most of it to my parents. Spending Tet holiday in another country was such a new feeling for me, but the greatest thing was spending it with family.
