In Vietnam, the H'Mong are one of the ethnic minorities with a significant population among the 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam. The Mong people usually live in the mountains, at an altitude of 800 to 1500 m above sea level, covering most of the northern mountainous provinces in a fairly large area, along the Vietnam - China and Vietnam - Laos borders from Lang Son to Nghe An, which mainly concentrates in the provinces of the East and Northwest of Vietnam such as Ha Giang, Lao Cai, Lai Chau, Son La..... The customs and culture of the H'mong are also very unique. They live by looking after fruit trees, raising livestock, planting terraced fields.... They live on average 4-5 people per house. Where the H'mong live, there is no electricity, wifi, ... electronics like where we live, they use torches, kerosene lamps, to light their own fire. The costumes of the H'mong people are quite prominent, they are self-embroidered with silk threads, eye-catching, matching, unique and colorful patterns, and each person has a style of dressing according to their own preferences, others are wrapped. People make loincloths, people make skirts, etc. The H'mong also have their own language, which is difficult to learn. But even so, they still have Vietnamese blood. The Hmong have many diverse cultural genres. There are many festivals: Ker bridge festival, Flute kite festival, swing festival, ... the festival is decorated very carefully and colorfully.
