Tet, also known as Lunar New Year, is a popular festival in Vietnam that I have attended since I was a little child. It is held on the first day according to the Lunar Year and it is celebrated by all Vietnamese. When Tet comes, people who works or study abroad would come back home to celebrate Tet. At Tet holiday, many people buy peach and blossom trees. Each of them would cook delicious and special food like banh chung and decorate their house. Parents and adults give the children the "lucky money", and those children can also hang out with their friends. The adults can visit their friends house and have meal together, too.
