hello everyone, I'm Bao Tram, we're in group 2. Today we will talk about Tet holiday tray. Our group of five fruits tray includes: banana, pomelo, na (custard apple), apple, orange, tangerine,, mango, guava.
The five-fruit tray is one of the important things to display on the ancestral altar during the Vietnamese New Year. It has a deep common meaning of offering to ancestors to express filial piety and wishes for good things in the homeowner and is always an indispensable part of the traditional Tet holiday of our nation.
The meanings of the fruits are :
Banana: Symbolizes descendants to gather, gather, warm, catch luck, cover and protect.
Grapefruit: Wishing for peace and prosperity.
Apples: Rich, rich.
Oranges, tangerines: Symbolizes success. affluent, multi-fortune
Papaya: Prosperous, full
Mango (pronounced like "spend"): May it not be lacking.
Na fruit (custard apple): Contains sugars and nutrients. Na ripe fruit is very sweet, delicious, nutritious and benign. Wish the best wishes
