There are so many festivals in the world, such as: La Tomatina Festival in Spain, Rio Carnival in Brazil, Water festival in Thailand, e.c.t . But, I like the Elephant Race festival best. Elephant Race festival is a Vietnam festival. The local people celebrate it. It normally takes place in March. It always held in Dak Lak, but the location can be changed though - sometimes it held in Don Village, sometimes near the river. The festival is local people's way of saying 'thank you' to the elephants, which are really important and work really hard for us. People celebrate it in a special way just where they are, with street fairs, elephant race tracks, the dances of the people who live there, and the folk games.
