Bac Ninh - my hometown is well-known for special food: Phu The Cake. On the occasion of Tet or getting married, the whole village makes cakes like a construction site. To make this delicious and beautiful cake requires bakers to be meticulous in every stage, from the selection of raw materials to the processing of finished products. The crust is made from finely ground yellow flower glutinous rice, filtered with starch, then kneaded with small grated green papaya, soaked in fruit juice for coloring the cake. The cake is mainly cooked green beans, then mixed with the diameter and other spices such as pumpkin jam, lotus jam, and copra to create aromatic, greasy. Phu The cake is packed in pairs, with 2 layers of leaves: the inside is the banana leaf layer, outside is covered with dong leaf, and then tied with red thread". Biting a piece of cake, I feel fleshy and sweet of Bac Ninh Province. I like Phu The Cake so so much.
