1. When is was a child, i used to walk everywhere. The town was so small that you could walk from one side to the other and you never really needed a car.

2. When i was young, mealtimes used to be quite predictable. And we'd eat similar food every day, consisting of meat, potatoes, root vegetables, whatever was in season at that time.

3. We never used to have very varied meals, whereas now my diet has changed a lot.

4. Children's education is changing rapidly today.

5. In the past, teachers made children sit still hours.

6. They made children memorise all sorts of things.

7. They had to listen and write down all the words the teachers read from the books.

8. In other words, children had to go on repeatting things until they knew them by heart.

9. They say you can only help them how to learn.

10. They say you must let the children learn and discover things for their understanding by themselves.
