Nature offers our country not only a silver sea but also a golden forest. Forests give us humans immense material benefits. And more than that, the fact shows that, higher than the material value, the forest is our own life. Forests flooding, erosion, climate control. Virtually every climate abnormality is caused by people not protecting the forests. In Vietnam, from North to South, floods and droughts have occurred continuously for many years because forests have been exploited and cut mercilessly. "Forest is the green lung of the world". The image of the lungs alone speaks to the importance of forests to human life.
To say that the forest are in danger right now is an understatement. We can find forest fires everywhere on the news, people are destroying the forest to farm, for wood gathering, every day. We might think the forest are plenty, we will never run out of it any day. However, the truth is that nothing is infinite. We might not destroy all of it today, but our children, our grandchildren might one day never know what forest is. It all depends on our actions now. Forest protection must be reinforced, actions must be taken, awareness must be spread. Reduce our consumption of things, a bit less convenience from each of us can make the forest a lot greener. Remember this: one little action can make a chain reaction. It is now or never.
