Typhoon Damrey, also known as Storm No.12, made landfall in Vietnam on November 4, 2017, with winds of up to 135 km/h. There have been 107 deaths, 315 injuries, and 16 people still missing. The government has estimated a total economic loss and damage of VND 14,318.62 million (USD 630,500,000). Heavy rains and floods, as well as tropical storms like Kirogi, continued to wreak havoc on many of the affected provinces.
