You may not forget the young man in Nguyen Thanh Long's Quiet Sa Pa. He is the symbol of the working man in the new society. A human working hard, sacrificing personal benefits for his ideal, for work. A man has identified his ideal of life as sacrificing for the country. So what is the ideal of life? I suddenly remembered the saying: "The ideal is life, the goal of life that people or the community aspires to achieve". Indeed, each human being needs to define for themselves the purpose of life for what? For who? Each age needs a different ideal of life. For example, in wartime, the symbol of the youth of the Soviet Union, then, Pa-ven in Steel, was like that. He thinks that if he lived, he should live so that he will not have to regret his years because he lived forever. Well each of us should ideally be truly determined from today. Personally, I have built for myself an ideal of living to strive, so that every time I remember To Huu's verse:
That word in my summer sun
The sun of truth shines through the heart.
