3. This is a difficult one! I saw the question and said to myself “Self, that’s EASY!”… and then I tried to actually narrow it down. Not so easy. I’m not a fan of big cities, but do like some of the cultural opportunities they offer that very rural settings don’t. That being the case, I would want someplace “not too far” from a city, but definitely in the countryside. I am not a fan of harsh winters, nor horrifically hot summers, but a reasonably warm climate, but not over 80 F. summer average would be ideal for me. I found Australia and New Zealand quite suitable, but much of Australia gets hot in the summer and both countries have a very expensive cost of living. I could definitely live in Norway, Sweden, or Finland, but there’s that cold again. England, Switzerland, and Austria are wonderful too. India, Brazil, Pakistan, Russia, and Italy were all very intriguing places to visit, but I would never intentionally choose those as my home for many reasons.
