Vietnam is a country which has a combination of modern and tradition. We can easily seethat through the way Vietnamese people dress, and our traditional costume besides thetrending fashion is Ao Dai. Ao Dai can be considered as a kind of long dress, but it hassome interesting variations. The first thing to mention is the fabric. Unlike manytraditional gowns of different nations in Asia, Ao Dai has the lightest choice of fabric.  Second, the form of Ao Dai is also simple. It has only two pieces onthe front and the back which go together with long big pants. In some traditional events such as Tet holiday,people will wear colorful pieces to mark the joyful atmosphere. At the weddings, both ofthe broom and the bride put on red or yellow Ao Dai to wish for luck and happiness for their marriage. Wedding Ao Dai is a little bit more complicated with the embroidereddetails of phoenix, dragon and flowers; and they all go with a matching turban which ismade from hard fabric or metal. In my opinion, Ao Dai is the most beautiful clothes forVietnamese, and I am so proud to put it on whenever I have chance.

Every country has their traditional clothes. Ao Dai is known as traditional Vietnameseclothes especially women. According to dictionary the definition of Ao Dai is a long-sleeved tunic with ankle-length panels at front and back, worn over trousers. It can bedesigned with several colors, patterns such as: flower, nature and different kind of fabrics.Wearing Ao Dai, women dignify their body’s attraction as well as reflect a nationalculture. Ao Dai symbolizes many personalities of Vietnamese women: gentleness, diligence,kindness and bravery. Therefore, it’s very proud for women to put on the special clothes.Student and teacher wears white Ao Dai to high school and some university on Mondayto join in the ceremony. Moreover, it is engagement party that the bloom dress in Ao Daito represent the tradition of Vietnam. Not only in Vietnam, It is also famous ininternational market that an increasing number of foreign tourists try wearing Ao Daiwhen visiting my country. They have good comment and congratulation on it. Protectingand preserving the beauty and nature of it are not only the individual’s duty but also all ofcitizen. Besides, Ao Dai is a beneficial and comfortable costume that women can chooseit for any event and party. Although there is a large number of new trend of fashion, AoDai always plays an important role in spiritual life of Vietnamese

Không chỉ ở VN, nócòn nổi tiếng ở thị trường thế giới, ngày càng nhiều du khách nước ngoài thử mặc áo dàikhi đến đất nước chúng ta. Họ có những nhận xét và lời khen tốt về nó. Bảo về và giữ gìnnét đẹp và vẻ tự nhiên của áo dài không chỉ là trách nhiệm của riêng ai mà của toàn dântộc.
