Barbara Morgan’s dream was to travel into space. One day, her wish came true. She was one of the seven astronauts on the Space Shuttle Endeavour, which took off into space from NASA’s Kennedy Space Station : sân bay vũ trụ in Florida.
Morgan taught at an elementary school in Boise from 1975-1998, with some time off for astronaut training. In 1985, she and Christa McAuliffe were chosen from 11,000 applicants to become part of the teacher-in-space program. They trained together for the mission. But then, a tragedy happened.
