II. There are ten mistakes in the text. Identify each mistake, write down and give your correction. If I had to choose one region of the world for my number one favourite for travelling, it would have to be Southeast Asia. There is simple more variety here than in almost any other region of the world. In food, religion, culture, Southeast Asia has as much variety and interest that you could possibly ask for. It is also a great area to travel simply for the challenge of travelling. Because Southeast Asia consists of so many islands and peninsulas, getting to places isn’t often a challenge and a lot of fun. Standard road and rail and air travel isn’t often possible. I’ll always remember the time that we rented a boat to sail to an Indonesian island of Komodo to see the famous dragons. We spent four days for pumping water out of the boat just to keep it afloat. Food is another great pleasure in travelling in Southeast Asia. After my first trip through the region I became a addict to tropical fruits. And the local Chinese and Thai dishes – just thinking about them make my mouth water. And spices? I’ve seldom spent more than a dollar and two for a meal. The greatest pleasure in travelling in Southeast Asia is the excitement of meeting new people. Its people that make travel worthwhile. More than anything I remember from my travels are the many different individuals I met and got to know along the way – people who have opened their countries, their homes, and their hearts to me
