To keep the class interesting teachers need to Create Games in the Classroom, Give Your Students Choices, Use Technology, Don't Take Teaching Seriously,,....... ........Integrating technology and allowing room for student engagement with in-class activities and projects are a great way to facilitate active learning while making learning more interesting. As a secondary school mandarin teacher at GIIS Singapore, I try to make the class more hands-on. So I begin every class with a 5 minute presentation where I ask students to present themselves using what they learned in previous lessons. This really gets them into the mandarin headspace.I go over the course material for the day, and after explaining, I ask students to give me an example. GIIS Singapore makes this extremely seamless as we use iPads in class. So I just click on a students name and it automatically alerts their screen for participation. This way, each student gets a chance to participate.
