Of course. Any household involving multiple people requires a division of responsibility, and that should be determined by relevant factors. Gender is irrelevant to this division. 100% irrelevant. It’s in the same league as dividing the tasks according to astrological signs.
In my household, I did most of the cooking. I like to cook, it’s a good way for me to relax, and the rest of the family enjoyed it (or pretended to very effectively). I did the vast majority of taking care of kids with a nighttime issue, because I have close to zero problem getting back to sleep, unlike my wife. Certain cleaning tasks are all mine for a variety of reasons. I like the satisfaction of getting a stubborn stain out of a pan or pot, so that’s mine.
No one should be exempt from contributing to the household effort due to their genitalia. That’s just silly.
