The Hmong is an ethnic group of Viet Nam living mostly in the Northern mountainous regions as well as Nghe An province, near Laos.
They speak their own language called Hmongic, which is a language in the Hmong-Mien language family. Besides, they speak English very well to communicate with foreign tourists. Like many of the other ethnic groups of Vietnam's Northern mountainous regions, the Hmong plays a great number of traditional musical instruments, including ones made from bamboo. These instruments are sometimes played in concert on special occasions.
They also have their own way of life, customs and traditional costumes.
