The first day of school was an interesting one. I remember standing in line outside the door, waiting for my teacher to come collect us, and to begin our exciting new life of formalized education! What still surprises me, is that I was incredibly calm, and sociable , I was genuinely intrigued by this concept and excited to learn new things with new friends. It didn’t work out that way, elementary school was slow, dull, and at times very lonely but looking back on it now, entering my final year of high school, it’s incredible how far I’ve come. What I felt on the first day of school could have in no way prepared me for what was to come. That’s kind of cool to think about.
