I am very happy to receive your letter and heard that you are still fine. I am writing to tell you about the sports event in my school. It took place last week and I participated in the running section. That was really fantastic that I had the promotion from my classmates and my teachers but unfortunately I only won the third prize. There were also many other sections such as badminton, table tennis, etc. The event gained a lot of attention from school students. What's more, my class won the second prize over all- which was really surprising! Hope you receive this letter soon.
