1. Thì hiện tại đơn - simple present tense
- Với động từ thường
(+): S + vs/es +...
(-): S+ do/does + not + v + ...
(?): Do/does + s + v+ .. ?
- Với động từ tobe
(+): S+ am/is/ are +....
(-): S + am/is/ are + not +...
(?): Am/is/ are + s + ...?
Dấu hiệu nhận biết: Always, every, usually, often, sometimes, rarely, generally, frequently, seldom, never, ...
2. Thì hiện tại tiếp diễn - present progressive
- Công thức:
(+): S + be (am/ is/ are) + v_ing + ...
(-):S+ be + not + v_ing + ...
(?): Be + s+ v_ing + ....?
- Dấu hiệu nhận biết: now, right now, at present, at the moment, look!, listen!, be quiet!, keep silent!
3. Thì hiện tại hoàn thành - present perfect
- Công thức:
(+): S + have/ has + $V_{3}$ / $V_{ed}$ +...
(-): S + have/ has + not+ $V_{3}$ / $V_{ed}$ +...
(?): Have/ has +s+ $V_{3}$ / $V_{ed}$ +...?
- Dấu hiệu nhận biết: Already, not...yet, just, ever, never, since…., for…, recenthy, before, ago, up to new, this is the first time,
4. Thì quá khứ đơn - past simple
- Với động từ thường
(+): S + $V_{2}$ / $V_{ed}$ +...
(-): S + did+ not + v + ...
(?): Did + s+ v+ ... ?
- Với tobe
(+): S + was/were + ...
(-): S+ was/ were + not +...
(?): Was/were + s+....?
- Từ nhận biết: Yesterday, yesterday morning, last week, last month, last year, last night.
Chủ từ + động từ quá khứ
5. Thì quá khứ tiếp diễn - past progessive
- Công thức:
(+): S + was/were + v_ing + o
(-): S + wasn’t/weren’t+ v-ing + o
+ Nghi vấn: Was/were + s+ v-ing + o?
- Từ nhận biết: While, where, at that very moment, at 10:00 last night, and this morning (afternoon), when
6.Thì quá khứ hoàn thành(past perfect tense)
(+)S+had+ $V_{3}$ / $V_{ed}$+...
(-)S+hadn't+ $V_{3}$ / $V_{ed}$+...
(?)Had+s+ $V_{3}$ / $V_{ed}$+...?
7. Thì tương lai đơn - simple future
- Công thức:
(+): S + shall/will + v_inf + ...
(-): S + shall/will + not+ v_inf +...
+ Nghi vấn: Shall/will + s + v_inf +....?
- Từ nhận biết : This….., tonight……, tomorrow, next……, in…… .
8. Thì tương lai gần – near future
S+Am/is/are + going to +v
- Từ để nhận dạng: This_, tonight, tomorrow, next_, in_...
9. Thì tương lai tiếp diễn (Future Continuous)
(+)S + will + be + V-ing
(-)+ will + not + be + V-ing
(?)Will + S + be + V-ing ?
at this time/ at this moment + thời gian trong tương lai: Vào thời điểm này ….
– At + giờ cụ thể + thời gian trong tương lai: vào lúc …..
