Vietnam is the first country in Asia and the second in the world to sign this Convention.
Despite recommending November 20, the United Nations allows member states to organize their own Children's Day on different selected dates. And some countries have celebrated November 20 in their own country such as Canada, Australia, Pakistan, Egypt...
