Organizing a school talent competition is wonderful! I always wish this competition would happen. I'll sure that there will be many students take part in this great event.
From my perspective, I think the talent show could be for all ages. Even though they could be young but their talent may not as "young" as their age. And I've seen many young students in our school really excelled at dancing or singing, playing instruments also. Besides, it'll make our talent show more diverse as the audience can enjoy different performances from different ages.
I agree with you entirely about let some parents judge but there must be at least one professional judge so that would be fairer.
For the prizes, I suggested the first champion will receive a gold trophy and shopping or traveling voucher values at about $30.
I am looking forward to that school talent show !!!
