The two children have been in London. They were surprised at the crowd everywhere. They decided to travel on the tube railway. They found that they had to be quick and get on the train or it would go off without them.
Oneday they went to Hyde Park and walked along on the grass to Kensington Gardens in bright autumn sunshine. This was diffirent from the crowded streets, and Mary said that it was like being back home.
