I have recently read a fairytale, named “Elves and the Shoemaker”. I was really impressed by the story’s plot. It is about a poor shoemaker and his wife. One day when they ran out of leather to make shoes, they went to bed early. In the morning after they woke up, they found that they had more a pair of shoes, which then was bought by a passerby. A new pair of shoes kept appearing at their home next day. On the third night, they didn’t go to sleep but hid and saw two elves making shoes. In gratitude, they made clothes for the elves, as winter was approaching. The elves were very happy and went on to help someone else. The story delivers a meaning of gratitude. We need to be grateful for those who help us.
