For many tourists, the drive or climb to Lung Cu Flag Tower is more impressive than the monument itself. Offering sweeping views of the surrounding area, the tower flies a big Vietnamese flag and remains a major symbol of patriotism. The monument was constructed to mark the northernmost point in the country, but the actual spot is on the border with China, just a short drive to the north.
From here, we can admire the panoramic view of the majestic Dong Van rock plateau as a masterpiece that Mother Nature Truly Ha Giang has left us. The villages are hidden in the open cloud. The image of terraced fields stretching across the hillside as if opening a new world in each person's perspective.
