Sử dụng đại từ quan hệ để kết hợp 2 câu thành 1 và đặt đại từ quan hệ vào trong ngoặc đơn nếu chúng có thể lược bỏ.
Ví dụ:
The woman is my dear aunt. My father is talking to the woman.
--> The woman (who) my father is talking to is my dear aunt.
Hoặc: The woman (that) my father is talking to is my dear aunt
Trong câu có mệnh đề quan hệ hạn định này who/that đóng vai trò làm tân ngữ nên có thể bỏ đi được (nên ta để trong dấu ngoặc đơn).
1)That is the table. The carpenter made it one month ago
2)She gets married to a man. He is taller than her.
3)A microwave oven is a machine. A microwave oven is used to cook food
4) I went to an accessory shop last weekend. It was quite cheap.
5)Queen Elizabeth II is 87. Queen Elizabeth II has been the queen of England for 61 years now.
6) I have just rented an apartment. The apartment is near my company.
7)His school is called Banking Academy of Vietnam. His school has about 6,000 students.
