Hoi An Ancient town is one of most well-known places in Vietnam. It is a well-preserved trading port in Southeast Asia. It is located in Viet Nam’s central Quang Nam Province, on the north bank near the mouth of the Thu Bon River. The town is speacial due to its fusion of indigenous and foreign cultures. The most famous symbol of Hoi An Ancient town is the fine wooden Japanese bridge, with a pagoda on it, dating from the 18th century. Annually, Hoi An welcomes thousands of domestic as well as foreign visitors. It always impresses them not only with its fine architecture but also the people and the cuisine here. In 1985, Hoi An Ancient Town was classified as a National Cultural Heritage Site and subsequently as a Special National Cultural Heritage Site. In short, it would be such a regret if you miss Hoi An when coming to Vietnam.
