Van, a Vietnamese boy is now living in the Parkers' house in Ohio States, US. Mr Parker is a farmer while Mrs Parker works part time in a nearby town. Their daughter's name is Sam and their son is Peter. After school Van does housework. He sometimes helps doing some farmwork. They have a break on Sunday afternoons. During this time, they watch Peter play baseball. Van is really happy to be one member of this family.
