The general picture is one of worldwide repression of the cinema. Censorship systems inevitably reflect the societies in which they exist. Political changes are often quickly followed by changes in censorship (2)…- new government in Argentina and Venezuela, for (3)…, have introduced more liberal methods- but (4)… swings are usually temporary.
