The Intruder
When I came home from school that day, I (1) ____(realize) that I (2) __(leave) my keys in my desk. I was about to go back and get them when I (3)____(see) that the kitchen window was open. Dad (4)_____(forget) to close it that morning.
I climbed through the window then I was that the kitchen was a mess. Someone (5)____(break) into our house! There was mud on the floor. The burglar (6)____(break) my favourite cup and he (7)____(even, eat) the chocolate biscuits that mum (8)__________(leave) on the kitchen table for me!
