There are a lot of different ideas about that homework should be abolished or not. Some people agree to abolish homework, others do not agree. In my opinion, homework shouldn't be abolished. Firstly, homework is very good for students. When doing homework, they will know if they understand the lesson, which issues they still don't understand. Then they can ask their friends or teacher to explain that matters so that they can understand the lesson more. Secondly, homework can make lazy students do homework. If students don’t do homework, they will be punished. Some students are very lazy, they don’t want to do homework. But that they are afraid of punishments by their teacher can make them done homework. Finally, the teacher will have the better suitable method through checking student’s homework. When he/she know which students are bad or good, they will apply the suitable way for each student. For example, the teacher will often check and correct homework to bad students, even he/she will explain the lesson again forbad students after school. In summary, homework is very helpful to students. However, teachers should not give too much homework to students, this thing would create a burden for students
