Tet holiday or Tet Nguyen Dan is one of the most important festivals in Viet Nam . It is held annually , which is based on Chinese Lunisolar Calendar . Before Tet , people go shopping to buy clothes , peach blossom tree , kumquat tree , .......... or some people decorate the houses . At Tet , people go to the pagoda to have a good luck in a year , watch Tao Quan or some ancestor worship . On the first day of Tet Nguyen Dan , people go to their relatives house and bring the best lucks to them , children usually get lucky money from elderly . After Tet , everything come back as it everyday , people go to work again , children go to school , some elderly just stay home and relax
