Tet is a conditional festival in Vietnam. Everyone loves this day. Tet is in the end of January so the weather always sunny and windy so it's my favourite festival. Before Tet, my family is very busy and excited. My mum bought a lot of clothes for me and my brother. My dad bought a kumquat and put it in the middle of my house. We decorated our house by some stickers of develop together. In this festival, we eat candies and Chungcake . Also, the children can receive lucky money from adult. They will wear new clothes and visit them relatives . In the evening, our family usually gather. After Tet, everyone returns to their jobs. I think Tet is the happinest day in the year because my parents don't need to go to the company.

Tết là một lễ hội  truyền thống ở Việt Nam. Mọi người đều yêu thích ngày này. Tết vào cuối tháng Giêng nên thời tiết luôn nắng và gió nên đây là lễ hội yêu thích của tôi. Trước Tết, gia đình tôi rất bận rộn và háo hức. Mẹ tôi đã mua rất nhiều quần áo cho tôi và anh trai tôi. Bố tôi đã mua một cây quất và đặt ở giữa nhà tôi. Chúng tôi đã trang trí ngôi nhà của mình bằng một số hình dán của phát triển cùng nhau. Trong lễ hội này, chúng tôi ăn kẹo và bánh Chưng. Ngoài ra, trẻ em có thể nhận được lì xì từ người lớn. Họ sẽ mặc quần áo mới và đi thăm họ hàng họ hàng. Buổi tối, gia đình chúng tôi thường quây quần. Sau Tết, mọi người đều trở lại với công việc của mình. Tôi nghĩ Tết là ngày vui nhất trong năm vì bố mẹ tôi không cần đến công ty.

Tet is one of the most important festivals in Vietnam. It often occurs around the beginning of January and the end of February. The meaning of Tet is to ending the last year and welcoming the new year with happiness and success. It is also a special occasion for a family reunion. Members will gather around the meal together. In addition, people will buy new clothes and furniture to celebrate after a hard-working year. Peach and apricot blossom are the symbolic flowers of this festival. To prepare for this holiday, people will clean their house and make Chung cake along with other traditional dishes. There are many special activities at that time such as cockfighting, watching lion dance, enjoying fireworks. According to the custom, adults will give red envelopes to the children with money inside as luck for the entire year.
