My hobbies are swimming. It has also been my favorite sport since I was little. I learned to swim from my dad. Dad is a very good swimmer. He is a talented athlete. Swimming has 4 main types. They are: stride swimming, frog swimming, backstroke and butterfly swimming. My favorite type of swimming is swimming frogs. In this mode, the arms and legs work in turn. First the hand is pulled, then the foot kicks out and the whole body glides forward with the arms and legs straight. I also love to swim butterflies and I can swim stride and backstroke, but not very good. I go to the pool 4 or 5 times a week, and every week. I practiced a lot to improve my swimming skills. I want to achieve good results. Last month I participated in a city swimming competition with 25 other people and I won the first prize. Swimming is not only an after-hours activity, it also has many benefits for human health. It helps me stay fit. With swimming, I can burn 25% of my body fat. Besides, I can avoid asthma too. Swimming also keeps you safe while underwater. Swimming is fun and pleasant, I really like this sport.
