-Meeting people, especially locals, and trying to communicate
-Tasting random food, trying to guess what it is. Bakeries and street food are my favourites.
-Visiting markets - any type of market, I particularly enjoy food markets and “junk” markets
-Walking a lot, particularly in the non-touristy parts of cities
-Going to the beach
-Taking photos (I very rarely take selfies, but I sometimes ask other people to take my photo)
-Contemplating about life
-Going to art galleries
-Discovering street art
Now, as for the “touristy” sightseeing: it totally depends on what there is to see and how interesting I find it at the time I am there. As an example - I spent three weeks in Havana at some point, and somehow didn’t go to any museums (in retrospect, I wish I had gone to a couple). But I met countless locals, had tons of conversations, and walked a lot!
