my years at the elementary school, I made lots of good friends. But during 5 years of school, among those friends, I have a best friend from grade 1 until now. It was Nam.
Nam is not only a close friend at school but also a childhood friend, a neighbor next to his house. As boys, our hobbies are quite similar. Contrary to girls who like to have lovely long hair, me and Nam cut short hair. Because we still play lots of good games together, we don't feel too uncomfortable when we sweat. Nam has a slightly dark complexion because of his childhood days with him playing kite flying or playing catch with neighbors' children. He has a tall body, especially long legs, so Nam is the fastest runner in the class. Nam possesses bright eyes, always flexible. My mother said anyone who has such eyes is very smart. Indeed it is. Nam is very smart. During class time, he is always the one who raises his arms most enthusiastically in the class. Although only a fifth-grade student, Nam sometimes has questions that make teachers surprised. Nam's tests always scored well and topped the class. Not only during class hours, but even in class activities, Nam is also enthusiastically involved.
Nam is an energetic, active and very likable person. My class everyone loves him. Nam and I are best friends since we were young, so every morning he went to invite me to school and went home in the afternoon. We were so close with each other like the picture and the ball made many classmates have to wonder and ask, "So can't you two separate?" At that time, Nam laughed and replied, "It can't be, we have been close friends since we were used to it."
When I was young, I was very sick so my mother never let me go out to play with the neighbors. Every day I see them playing, laughing and laughing but extremely longing. I thought that I would never play with them when one autumn day, the soft sunshine spread everywhere, Nam came running in front of me and asked me to go fly a kite with him. At first, I was still hesitant because my mother did not give me, but soon after, Nam ran in to ask my mother for permission. For some reason, he just said a few words, my mother nodded in agreement. Could not wait any longer, she and Nam quickly ran to the dyke, the two of them playing kite together all day. From that day on, Nam went to invite me to go out every day, so the two of them became close. We have been best friends since we were five until our fifth grade, I hope that by the time we reach middle school, we will still be in the same school and class as we are now.
I really love Nam. Nam is the one who brought me lots of fun and memories. I hope that their friendship will be strong and lasting forever.
