The Temple of Literature was founded by the Emperror Ly Thanh Tong in ` 1070`. Now it is considered as one one of the historic and cultural sites of Viet Nam. And then in `1076` Emperor Ly Nhan Tong built the Imperial Academy as the first university of Viet Nam.
In ` 1484` , Emperor Le Thanh Tong built the first Doctor 's stone tablet there to remember the devotion of Doctors. Now it is recognized as the World Heritage by UNESCO. In ` 2003`, the Ha Noi People Committee built `4` statues of Emperor Ly Thanh Tong, Emperor Ly Nhan Tong,King Le Thanh Tong and one of the most famous teacher at the Imperial Academy - Chu Van An.
