Kristen Dunst was born in New Jersey, USA, in 1982. Her acting career began when she was 3 years old, when she appeared in her first TV commercial. She made her first film role in Woody Irish’s New York Stories (1989).
In 1994, she made a big breakthrough in the movie Interview with Vampire, starring alongside famous superstars Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise. As a scary child, she won a Golden Globe nomination, MTV Awards for best performance and the Satum Award for Best Young Actress.
Over the years, she has starred in famous films including: Little Women (1994), Jumanji (1995), romantic films Get Over It (2001) and Mona Lisa Smile with Julia Roberts (2003). However, most of her successful films were the Spider-man series (2002 and 2004) with Tobey Maguire, in which she played the girlfriend of Spider-Man superhero, Mary Jane.
